Why Being an Event Photographer Is a Fun and Rewarding Experience?

As an event photographer for over 20 years now, I have decided to make a short retrospection of some of the most interesting events that I have shot for all these years. If you are interested to find out which they are, read on. If you want to see some of the shots that I have made, visit my blog page!

April fool’s fest in Tucson Sculpture Resource Center.

April Fool FestThis was a festival of both arts and music, which as you can guess ,was held on April 1st, 2011. The funds that were raised from the entrance fee contributed to the development of the Sculpture Resource Center. This was an eclectic art event that featured different local artists and artisans. Of course, music and beer were also a major part of the event. Some of the artists that I was lucky to shoot during the event were: members of the SRC, Keegan Rider, and The Tunnel of Questionable Enlightenment. This event is one of my best memories as a photographer because its culmination involved an interactive event of throwing 1,500 Magnetic LED throwies all over the center. They were made especially for the show, and for me, it was a real honor to shoot such a magical colorful picture. Check out my blog’s gallery if you are interested to see some of my work as an event photographer.

Tucson has heart.

This was a special event organized by the Tucson community on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011. There were thousands of people gathered in Hi-Corbett Field. They were all dressed in red and made an enormous “human heart” to show our Tucson spirit. I was lucky to be able to photograph all these supporters wearing red shirts with the help a helicopter provided by Sonoran Wings Flight School. Contact me for postcards with shots.
