How Does an Aerial Photographer Take Pictures?
Aerial photography may seem like a modern invention needing modern technology in the hands of a professional aerial photographer, but in reality, it started long ago. Aerial photography was first used in 1858 by a Frenchman called Gaspard Felix Tournachon, also known as Nadar, who was into hot air balloons. One of his early photos was taken from a hot air balloon in Paris, since then, the art has grown. In recent years, aerial photography has expanded into a variety of other fields.
Aerial photographs can be taken by motion or still cameras inside planes, helicopters, satellites, etc. Due to modern technology, aerial photography does not always need a live photographer.
